Good morning Cava Families and welcome back! I hope you are rested and rejuvenated to start this new semester. Report cards have been completed and will be postmarked today. Please remember that the Middle School Grading Scale is used for this process. This grading scale was sent out several times throughout semester 1 but I am attaching it again for your convenience as it is extremely important to pay attention to throughout the quarters as the grades are computed by this information.
I’ve also attached this week’s newsletter. It is much shorter than the others due to our short week. I will be compiling some emails today and sending them out in regards to a new and easier way to approach Study Island. I’m excited about it actually.
I wanted to welcome those new families I have received over the last week and let you know we will be in contact today. If today is your student’s start date, the first thing I’d like you to take part in is the Scantron assessment. This can be viewed from your online schools account. Your student will ONLY need to take the READING and MATH, nothing else. If you have not set up your Online Schools account, please do so. Both parent and student need their own accounts. Again, I will be in touch.
For those new and returning, please remember my office hours are from 8:30-4:30pm Monday through Friday. I will return your call within 24 hours of business days, however, I’m usually much more efficient than that. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions. I am your first go to person.
Just a friendly reminder in regards to the ISMAs for Spring. If you haven’t signed yours please email me so that your child has access to their accounts.
