Hello Cava Families!
The Kite Outing has been cancelled for tomorrow (3/20) due to rain, so I am moving our work sample drop-off to the Starbucks @ 129 S. Union Rd. in Manteca (different from where we’ve met before. There is a bit more room at this location). I will be there from 12:30pm - 1:30pm only since you are only dropping off your work samples. As far as the PFT goes, Kathy Nettles is the teacher in charge of this and you may want to contact her to confirm tomorrow’s PFT should it rain. I’ve contacted her and it seems as though she’s planning on continuing the PFT event. Should I hear otherwise, I will send out an email. An email went out with a snapshot of all 7th grade students and their assigned PFT locations.
This Work Sample drop off is optional but is being offered for those of you in this central location of Manteca and for those who want to physically turn in work samples versus mail them.
Thank you to those who have mailed them already and are planning on doing so by this Friday. Don’t forget to use the checklist to ensure you have labeled everything correctly. The following are things to include has part of each sample:
· First and Last Name
· Unit/Lesson
· Subject
· Date it was completed on the OLS
· Page number (pg 1 of ___)
· Learning Coach’s grade
You are more than welcome to respond if you are coming tomorrow to the Work Sample drop off or I will just see you there. I will be there from 12:30-2:30pm tomorrow (March 20th).
