Good morning Cava!
As you are all working on your online schools, study island, and preparing for your upcoming State Test, I wanted to just send a word of encouragement to you all and to remind you to just relax and do the best you can. Some of you have continued working on your Strategies for Success (which help prepare for testing) and some have already completed it. I just wanted encourage you to continue working on that unless you’ve finished. If you’ve finished, continue working on your OLS and Study Island, in addition to checking out the state test’s past released questions that were sent out in a past email. Let me know if you need this.
As I continue looking at progress, I’m seeing that some are finishing up some of their courses. If this is the case, please continue working on your other courses. Please ensure you are focusing on your core subjects (math, GUM, Language, History, Science). Please ensure you are also visiting study island to ensure you have completed quarter 3’s blue ribbon.
All 8th graders, I will be contacting you today and Friday to get you enrolled for your 9th grade year (regardless of whether or not you’re returning).
Finally, if you have not viewed your assigned PFT and CST on Cava Parent, please do so. Everyone’s PFT and CST dates/locations are different. Let me know if you have any questions.
