PE Log - needs updating

Happy Friday CAVA Families,

 

This is just a friendly reminder to begin updating your child’s Quarter 3 PE Log. Remember, if your child regularly participates in a sport or activity, you may enter minutes for the entire quarter. Please be sure your child has at least the minimum amount of PE minutes required for the two week period!

 

     PE Logs

Please remember to enter in your PE minutes for each 2 week period.  Please follow these easy steps to complete your PE log:

 

1. Log onto www.cavaparent.org
2. Select “Physical Education” – “Logs”
3. Choose Quarter Three
4. Click “Add New”
5. Select the two week period that needs updating (Weeks 1 &2, 3&4)
6. Choose your activity and enter your minutes.  Please enter the minutes you spent on that activity for the ENTIRE 2 week period.  For example, if your student played basketball each day (30 minutes for 10 days) please calculate it all together as 300 minutes or 5 hours rather than 10 separate entries of 30 minutes.  (This allows me to print the PE log on one page at the end of the quarter.)
7. Keep adding activities until you are done.

8.      Remember, you need to do PE for at least 20 minutes every day, or at least 200 minutes for each 2-week period. 

 

Weeks 1 & 2        1/21 to 2/01 -140

Weeks 3 &4         2/04 to 2/15 -180

Weeks 5 & 6       2/18 to 3/1 -180

Weeks 7 & 8        3/4 to 3/15 -200

Weeks 9&10        3/18 to 3/29 -200
