7th Grade Writing Test

Good Afternoon CAVA Learning Coaches,
 
As you are aware, the 7th grade Writing Test will be on March 5^th this year.  All 7th graders will be participating in this test and it is important for them to prepare.
 
The 7th grade Class Connect Composition classes have reviewed 2 of the 4 genres that could possibly be chosen for the test (narrative, persuasive, response to literature, and summary writing).  The last 2 live sessions will be held the weeks of February 15^th and February 25^th.  If you have a 7th grader who has missed the first 2 genres (narrative and persuasive), the recordings are attached.  Please encourage your students to attend the live sessions for the last 2 genres (response to literature and summary).  Attached, you will also find additional resources and the PowerPoints that have been used in the past for test prep.
