Team Louis (Cava's Christie Louis' Class): work sample clarification

Good afternoon!

I just wanted to check in to remind you how quarter 4 is going to work in regards to work samples and additional assignments. Just like all other quarters, I will need ONE sample from math, language (any piece), science and history. Please note, the additional assignments expected in both Math and History and assessments. Please refer to the email sent earlier in the week for these assessments (ONLY IF STUDENT’S COURSES WERE COMPACTED). Otherwise, all other students will take their normal end of the semester assessments. I DO NOT NEED THESE BROUGHT TO ME they jus need to be completed for report card purposes. For the Science Investigation, this can be any experiment of choice. I DO NOT NEED THIS PHYSICALLY EITHER UNLESS YOU’RE USING IT AS A SCIENCE WORK SAMPLE. If your student is physically turning this in, please only provide results and the science write up on paper. The only other additional assignment is the writing piece in composition. I hope this clears things up…

To sum it up…

· Turn in one work sample from every subject area – a regular lesson unless you are using the science investigation.

· The science and composition additional assignment can be used for the work sample

· If you turn in regular samples for each subject, you can always just email me the results of the assessments, science investigation, composition (IF YOU ARE NOT USING THIS AS A LANGUAGE SAMPLE)

****I AT LEAST NEED THE 4 SAMPLES – HARD COPY – THE REST CAN BE EMAILED OR SCANNED.

****PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT IF YOU ARE MAILING SAMPLES, PLEASE DO SO ASAP. I WILL NO LONGER BE AT THE 2014 GASLIGHT DR. MODESTO, CA 95355 LOCATION AFTER MAY 17^TH. I AM CURRENTLY IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING OUT OF STATE SO THIS IS THE REASON FOR THE ADDRESS UPDATE.

**** WHILE THIS DATE IS A BIT EARLIER THAN THE END OF THE QUARTER, THIS SHOULD BE OK IN REGARDS TO COLLECTING THE 4 MAIN WORK SAMPLES AS AGAIN, THE ADDITIONAL ASSIGNMENTS CAN BE EMAILED (AS LONG AS THEY ARE NOT BEING USED FOR WORK SAMPLES).
