Good afternoon Learning Coaches!
Please ensure that you go in and update attendance for your student today. The official attendance report for Cava will be printed this Friday. This is just a friendly reminder to not be logging attendance for weekends or holidays. Additionally, if your child is not completing any online or offline assignments, attendance cannot be logged. If this occurs, I am required to go in and delete those days if applicable.
I would highly encouraged (NOT REQUIRED) your student to complete some work during the holiday if he or she is behind in progress and/or spend time in Study Island. By this Friday, those who started on August 16th, progress should be at about 44%in all subject areas by this Friday (Dec. 14th).
Finally, please visit our class blog, www.cavaschristielouis.blogspot.com to make sure you are up to date on all of the emails that have gone out. As mentioned in a kmail, emails are starting to bounce back to me again (as other teachers are experiencing this as well). If you have not signed up for an in-person meeting, please do so as soon as possible as we are getting down to the wire as to when Quarter 2 work samples are due. I have attached the schedule again for your convenience.
